BRIEF OVERVIEW

This brief outlines the Top Coder Coding Challenge 2025. This national-level coding competition is intended for university students nationwide and is conducted at 2 levels:

  1. University level
  2. National level

The competition aims to foster the development of programming skills, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking among participants.

This event will also provide a platform for students to showcase their coding prowess in a challenging yet supportive environment.

 
 

COMPETITION REQUIREMENTS

The competition is hosted physically in the university labs. The competition will consist of multiple coding challenges of varying difficulty levels. Participants will solve these challenges within a specified time frame using the Virtual Code Lab platform.


 
 
 

COMPETITION STRUCTURE

The competition is hosted physically in the university labs. The competition is a team event with each team consisting of 2 members. The competition will consist of 8 coding challenges of varying difficulty levels. Participants will solve these challenges within a 2 hour 30 minutes time frame using the E-Box Virtual Code Lab platform.

University Level

1 Participants compete to choose the top 5 teams to represent the university at the national level.

National Level

2 The top 5 teams from each university will represent their universities at the national level, held in a host university in the central region.

Duration: 4 – 5 hours | Time: 8.30 am – 1.00 pm

2 9.00 am to 9.30 am Opening ceremony & Welcome by University / DSA / MDEC / Briefing
3 9.30 am to 12.00 pm Competitors enter labs and competition commencement
4 12.00 pm to 12.30 pm Industry Pocket Talk by Industry Representative
5 12.30 pm to 1.00 pm Announcement of Winners, Certificates Presentation, Closing and Photo Session
